I like how movies used to publish review quotes like
“one of the best movies i’ve ever seen”,
“Life changing”,
“Shivers”
and now they’re just like
“one of the best films of the year”
“Definitely in my top ten films of the month”
“It was good.”
Like they’ll take what they can get.
Re-watched this tonight, because I bought the DVD (it’s been like a month since I watched a Disney film, my gosh. That’s a record.) I always listen to the soundtrack which is A+, but the movie is a little…sillier than I remember. I mean, it’s still one of the best as far as sequels go, but just some parts were like “oh dear, this parts for the kids. pls stop now.” HA. But the music is so great, it pretty much saves everything. And the storyline & animation is okay. There’s no mongulated Ariel necks at least.
NOT EVERY BLOODY MOVIE NEEDS A SEQUEL!!!
If it’s a pre-written book sequel fine, if there’s too much involvement in the original story then fine, BUT NOT FOR A FAIRYTALE!! Fairytales go for like a couple of pages each.
And I mean, why is the hobbit now in three parts? I love Peter Jackson, and I love more to do with Tolkien, but you can make 3 books into 3 movies, but 3 movies for 1 book? I don’t get it.
I’m sorry, but really WHY?! I mean, the best movies are standalone movies.

Haven’t done that in….1year and a half!!! (Due to too much noise, and virtigo, dizziness etc etc) AND I DID IT TODAY!!
Sure, I had to pick a kids, relatively short, not too action packed one, BUT I’m so over the moon that I managed to sit there through the whole thing without being overwhelmed, or needing to leave early, and THEN go shopping afterwards!! and bought too much stuff!! Most notably childrens movies, a cute jacket, and hats.
AND TICKETS!!! TICKETS TO FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS!!! REALLLY GOOD SEATS!!!

My favorite director, Tarsem Singh, is making a Snow White movie. Eiko Ishioka is the film’s costume designer. She has previously made costumes for the famous Dracula movie and all of Tarsem’s earlier films (The Fall, The Cell, and Immortals). Click on the pictures to see then in high resolution. Kristen Stewart didn’t annoy me so much in this. Her face could actually display more than one emotion. And the Michael Cera clone, wasn’t so much of a Michael Cera clone.
It was a pretty good movie :)
